I like knowing that the cats are at the right temperature & are safe in the evening
I like cats. I find them so smart and cool looking & I know they get the most awful reputation for no reason. I am typically trying to find cats & give them a nice home. I will take strays to the vet & get them spayed & neutered. I will feed the strays behind my place & I always give them water. I have really gone to several neighborhood animal shelters too. I have a giant backyard shed that was going to be a job out space for me. I keep a rather big feral animal collection now. So I have substituted this space into a sizable animal house. What I do is I have animal beds, automatic feeding & watering systems for them. Inside the shed there is bedding, ledges & scratch posts for them all. Another addition was heating & cooling. My section is mostly hot. That shed used to get very steaming in the Summer. So now the cooling system keeps the section a comfortable eighty degrees. Most of the cats elect to stay in the A/C over the Summer rather than hang around outdoors. When the Wintertime season comes, the heating system kicks on. No animal is allowed to go freezing or without shelter. I have a smart thermostat in there so I can adjust the temperature at will without going inside the actual facility. It is the best solution for the cats & I both. They are glad & I am glad. I like knowing that the cats are at the right temperature & are safe in the evening. I wish I could bring them inside my home however some of the cats just won’t allow it.
