It is hard not to notice when your condo goes from lovely and warm, to icy cold, or vice versa.
Which is exactly what happened to me.
Yesterday was like any other day, & my heating & cooling device was absolutely working just fine. Then I fell asleep and woke up feeling all sticky, warm & sweaty. Since my bedroom was dark, I figured the power had gone out, because all of us were having quite a few thunderstorms. Then I realized that the ceiling fan was still on, so obviously a power outage was not the problem. I got up to check, & after looking around my home. I realized my air conditioning was not on. That was odd, because the cooling unit is supposed to run all evening while I sleep. I went & fiddled around with the thermostat, however to my surprise it was not absolutely working or responding. I tried to change the temp setting, however nothing happened. This is when I realized that this was going to be something for a Heating & A/C professional to work on. So I made an appointment with the local air conditioning contractor for Heating & A/C work, & they are supposed to come out later this week. I am really blissful that they are able to come over on such short notice, because I would hate to be stuck with the overheated air & awful indoor air quality for nights. I just hope when I get the heating & cooling bill, that it is not too extravagant, & the concern that my A/C has is minor.
