I have a perfectly functioning heating & A/C.
It keeps my lake house unquestionably comfortable and temperate in every single room.
I paid great money for this Heating & A/C system. My family also enjoys all of the comforts that the Heating & A/C system provides. However, the most ironic thing is that my number one room in the lake house doesn’t even have the benefit of our central heating & A/C. Pat and I have a rather sizable & comfortable attic that I have transformed into a small reading nook & guest study room. Hanging out up there & reading great books on a freezing cold & wet evening has been one of my number one pastimes as of late, but then how on earth am I staying warm if it’s the one locale in my lake house that isn’t heated by my central Heating & A/C system whenever it’s freezing & wet outside? Well, I remedied that concern by buying a new portable heating unit for the attic! The attic space is large, like I said, however the little gas furnace absolutely manages to heat it up rather well! I have to wear an extra layer, to be sure, however it turns out to be so cozy and snug up there. There’s a small bed, a couch, a root beer table, a shelf full of classic books, a small portable stove for making Dunkin Donuts Latte & my trusty heating unit! What more could I ask for in a reading nook? Pat & the adolescents have taken notice that this is my number one locale to hide away in for a little peace & quiet. I caught my oldest son up there yesterday cozying up to the gas furnace with a book, & I must say, I’m absolutely feeling blissful! If the comfortable environment is encouraging him to read, then he is welcome up here to read any time!
