The clients wanted to write a check for the service

Last month Blake helped some clients with an air conditioning repair and he didn’t get paid the day that he completed the service.

The clients wanted to write a check for the services, however Blake told them that they would rather send him a bill.

Blake contacted the clients by phone 5 times after he sent out the invoice, but he never heard anything from them. Blake knew the clients had to get the information, because he sent it right to the address where he performed the services. Blake phoned the owners numerous times to settle the bill and after that he decided to show up at their beach house unannounced. You can imagine that they were very surprised to see him in the driveway. The clients were entertaining some friends at the time. Blake wasn’t attempting to make a scene, so he told the clients that he wanted to talk to them about some company that he had. The clients asked him to give them a moment. They said they would meet Blake outside in his truck. Blake went out to the truck and the clients never came outside. Two police officers came to the address about 45 minutes later and told Blake that he had to leave. The owners of the beach house complained that he was resting outside and stocking them. They complained that Blake was being aggressive and trying to hound them for money. The officers told Blake that it was best to leave the property and take it up with a small claims court.
