This year’s allergies have been worse than they have ever been before.
- At least that is how it has been in my experience! I usually have some issues here and there with my allergies throughout the season, but this year it has been really bad.
I have had all kinds of problems throughout the spring and summer. Now that fall is coming and the weather is cooling off, I am really hoping that the allergies are going to back off a little bit because I have been kind of miserable for months now. I don’t know if the weather cooling off is going to help me very much at all, but when I felt the cooler temperatures outside yesterday, it really made me feel quite optimistic. I’m hoping that I don’t have to deal with any more allergies this year. I ended up getting the air ducts in the house cleaned out professionally a month ago just to see if it would help things. The respiratory issues that I have been having have really been knocking me for a loop. I even talked to my dad about it. My dad used to be an HVAC technician before he retired, and so he knows a lot about things like that. My dad told me that in addition to getting the ductwork cleaned out professionally, he would suggest that we put in a UV light air purification system to run in tandem with the heating and cooling system in the house. I hope that with all of these updates to our HVAC system, along with our new HEPA filter, I will be breathing easier in no time.
