That’s when we realized that we had never gotten the A/C tuned up and we were going to have a problem.
My wife and I put off getting our air conditioning system ready for the summer and we are really paying for it now. We usually try and get things done on time, but for some reason, this year we just procrastinated for too long. We should have had our central air conditioning system looked at by our HVAC company early on in the season, but life just got to be too busy and we forgot to call for an appointment. Now, the weather has really been heating up and we’ve been trying to use our air conditioning every single day. However, the A/C is not cooperating with us! The first day we even tried to turn it on, it started to make a weird clunking noise and the air coming out of the air vents never even got cooler than lukewarm for the entire night. That’s when we realized that we had never gotten the A/C tuned up and we were going to have a problem. Well, I called our local HVAC company the very next morning, but by that point they were all booked up for A/C tune up and maintenance appointments. The HVAC technician that I spoke with told me that there would be a wait of at least two and a half weeks before they could get to us and fix our air conditioner. I guess that’s what we get for putting things off that we should have done earlier in the season. Now, we are going to have to sit here and suffer in the heat for half the month with a non working central air conditioning system.
