Going back to school for Heating and A/C certification

I thought I was done with school after 12th grade, but life had other plans for me! Ever since graduating private school I have worked in the family business, at the downtown hotel.

There was no plan for me to go to university, and no need for it.

I l received the business from the ground up, and knew every inch of that hotel. I served as the main handyman and supervisor for the hotel, so I handled a lot of the basic service, and hired professional businesss for the rest, however one of the greatest expenses every one of us faced was the Heating and A/C system. Every room needed its own air vents and thermostat to regulate the heating and cooling, however with that several rooms, that several people, and that several weird Heating and A/C systems toiling at once, every one of us had a lot of electrical concerns, as well as concerns with the room units themselves. I pitched the plan to my family that every one of us need a full time Heating and A/C tech on staff to keep up with the work, and that it would be cheaper than consistently calling in outside help. My family pitched their own plan – that I go to night school and get my Heating and A/C certification, so I can take charge of that for the hotel in the future. I must admit that I wasn’t psyched at first about being the Heating and A/C repair expert for the hotel, but the plan grew on me. Working on Heating and A/C systems would be better than changing beds, or carrying luggage for the guests,so I guess it could be worse.
