When I was younger I had sleepovers my best friends.
I remember in the summertime was mostly when we would have our sleepovers.
It would be my three best friends and I. We always had a blast. I miss those days because there wasn’t a lot to worry about and I didn’t have as much responsibility as I do now. Now I’m a parent and I have the responsibility of myself and my child. My child was the same age when I started going on sleepovers. My daughter has gone over to her friends house a good amount for sleepovers and I asked her why doesn’t she invite her friends over here. She thought about it before so the next weekend she invited two of her friends. The girls were outside playing for most the day. Around dinner time they came inside, had dinner and watched a movie for the rest of the night. I went to bed and told them not stay up too late. I woke up the next morning to popcorn all over my living room floor. I figured the dog had gotten a hold of it, but I didn’t realize that it was my daughter and her friend’s who decided to have a popcorn fight. It wasn’t until 2 weeks later that I realized there was popcorn in my air vents. I found out that there was popcorn in my vents from my HVAC technician. He did a ductwork and air vent cleaning when he discovered five popcorn pieces. I had a talk with my daughter and told her that popcorn should not be thrown around in the house.
