One of my best friends got married recently. I was her maid of honor and I had to organize her wedding and help her out. I wanted to do this because I love weddings and I own a wedding event planning company. When it came to choosing a place for her reception I picked out one that I have had many of my other clients use and she picked out another place. She was dead set against her her choice and I told her that I haven’t had any my clients go there yet. Therefore I was unsure how well the place was. There seemed to be good reviews online. My friend ended up going with her choice but I was crossing my fingers the whole time that the reception would go well. I felt like if anything did go bad it would be on me because I was her wedding planner. Half way into the reception I realized that I started to feel really warm. It wasn’t because I was dancing, I realized that I didn’t feel any cool air from the vents. I looked around and saw a lot of other guests sweating too. I immediately got one of the workers and asked them if they could turn the A/C on. The worker told me that they had an HVAC technician on the way because there was problems with the HVAC system. I didn’t want to tell my best friend, the newlywed, because I didn’t want to ruin her big day. I knew we should have went with my choice of the reception place.
