My colleagues and I were planning to meet for dinner and drinks later at this new restaurant that served authentic Mexican food to celebrate a recent pay rise. It is the same restaurant where I had delivered and installed new air conditioning equipment less than a month ago, and we worked in an air conditioning company business. We are the ones that ensured that almost everyone in the town and beyond was comfortable in their homes including the local business since we also maintained any commercial air conditioning. Even during the lockdown period, we were still offering A/C services since we are part of the essential workers, this week being the last day of work for the week almost everyone’s call schedule was packed. Being an air conditioning specialist I had an air conditioning upgrade, later in the day, I had three air conditioning maintenance services including resetting a dial thermostat. At least I did not have an air conditioning repair service because what might seem like a fifteen-minute job may end up taking more than double the amount of time to fix. By the time we were getting off from work, we had decided that we would rather opt for grilled meat and drinks at a local joint. It was the only local bar that I knew had a ductless multi-split system, but whoever had installed the Heating and A/C machine had done an impeccable job and that was to say a lot coming from a cooling system workman who knew more about air conditioning than most people.
