As a doctor, I hear about allergies from my patients all the time.
Many people suffer from allergies and breathing problems from a young age.
I often hear of adults who had allergies in their childhood, but it has only gotten worse in their adult lives. I hear the same story of how individuals have tried all kinds of allergy medications, but none of them seem to work. Most allergy medications simply alleviate symptoms for a few hours. However, that is not very helpful or comforting for those who suffer chronically from their allergies. I recently spoke with a new patient who told me all about their allergies. She was clearly so overwhelmed and upset that she had no solution for her constant congestion and discomfort. I suggested to her what I always suggest to my patients with allergies. I told her that she should try fixing up her HVAC plan to help myself with the discomfort. I proposed that she use HEPA filters to pull the allergens as well as other contaminants from the air causing her to feel sick all the time. I said it would be a smart idea to invest in a UV air purification plan, as these systems are good for removing pathogens, mold spores, as well as bacteria. She was willing to try it, so she had the HVAC experts come out to install these things. They inspected the air duct cleaning too. It’s crazy, because she didn’t expect much of an improvement, however her allergy symptoms cleared up significantly! When I saw her again, she told me that her allergies were so much better. She would leave her house, and they would occasionally flare up again, but she was thrilled that she could finally live comfortably thanks to these HVAC improvements.
