I could not believe how stupid I was last week.
I was getting ready to take a shower after getting in from work, and I somehow dropped my car keys on the floor.
But not just anywhere on the floor. The reason I say I was stupid was because it was right where the air vents of my central heating and air conditioning system are in the floor! And yep, you guessed it, my car keys went falling down the air vent of the central heating and air conditioning system. I obviously had a major issue on my hands. So instead of getting in the shower, I had to call the local heating and air conditioning company and request an emergency HVAC appointment. I needed one of their certified heating and air conditioning specialists to get out to my house right away to get down inside the air vents of the central heat and a/c unit so I could get my car keys back! They were the only keys I had, and without them I would not be able to leave the house and more importantly, not be able to go to work in the morning! The heating and air conditioning company was very prompt at getting one of the certified heat and a/c specialists out to me. When the certified heating and air conditioning specialist came he knew exactly what to do. In about 10 minutes time he was able to retrieve my car keys. I thanked him and unhappily had the HVAC repair and service bill to pay just to get my car keys back!
