Keeping myself warm while living in my RV

I recently obtained an RV for traveling the country from end to end.

I have really been enjoying my travels, & I’ve seen multiple appealing sites. Being able to retire & finally having enough time and opportunity to drive around the country & explore it has been quite the boost to my happiness. Initially, I was apprehensive about traveling in a camper van because of temperature control concerns. I knew that the walls of the camper van are obviously much thinner than those of a house, & I was wondering how I was going to stay warm. I had to do a few things to make sure that I could be as warm as possible on my travels. I needed to look for air leaks through the camper & make sure they were patched. I also knew that I would have to dress in a few extra layers of clothing in general, because I would not be able to rely on super effective temperature control. Easily, the most effective way that I dealt with the freezing in my RV, particularly at evening whenever I was sleeping, was using electric blankets & a small portable heater. The small portable gas heater was powerful enough to pretty much heat the entire RV in the evening when I needed it the most. I ended up being rather snug & cozy & I was so blissful that I finally found a great way to keep comfortable in my RV. The only question is, how will I keep sufficiently cool when the Summer comes and I am in the hotter parts of the country? I’m sure I will figure that out too.
