I am used to pinching every penny out of every product & service that I use. I like my home & it has had the same heating & A/C for almost twenty years. That is totally on the far end of a normal Heating & A/C system’s life cycle. I have kept the Heating & A/C system well-tended with respectful maintenance appointments, & in short, all the necessary care to get as much life out of the Heating & A/C system as possible. However, all machines wear down over time, just like everything else, so despite all of the upkeep, it was no longer smart to try to keep my old Heating & A/C system after more than one decades. Service visits were increasing in frequency. Telltale noises developed indicating that the Heating & A/C system was on its way out the door. I was loath to pay the price to purchase & install a brand new, modern Heating & A/C system, even though I knew that the service costs for my old system were really piling up, & it would soon cost more to try & maintain the old system than purchase & install a much nicer and more modern one. Finally, I resolved to purchase a modern Heating & A/C system. I have considered myself to be frugal with my money, even though I decided that if I would purchase a modern system, I would make sure that it was a tearing edge & super-efficient AC that would serve myself and others well for at least as multiple years as my old system, and it all turned out great with my modern heating & A/C & I am unquestionably gratified.
