A few months ago, I entered my name into a drawing at the local hardware store.
The only reason I entered my information was because I was bored and I had no other way to kill time.
My husband was insistent on looking at all the HVAC systems the store carried, but I thought it was pointless. All the information in the store could be found online, but there was no changing his mind. We needed a new HVAC system which was going to cost us thousands of dollars, so my husband wanted to get up close and personal with all the HVAC units. According to him, it would help him make a more well rounded decision about which unit to install. When I saw the entry forms for the random drawing, I entered my name and thought that I’d simply be spammed by emails from the store. A few weeks later though, I got a call saying that I’d won! I was surprised, but I was even more surprised when they told me how much I’d won. I won a gift card with a lot of money on it to use toward the store! It was perfect timing because my husband and I were still looking for a new HVAC system. The gift card could be used to cover some of the cost. I am so happy that I entered my name because it has saved us hundreds of dollars on one of the best HVAC systems on the market.
