I assume there must be a steep learning curve for any new experience.
But I have to say that I was a bit surprised at just how much I’m experiencing now that I own our condo! Prior to homeownership, I simply called the front office when something appreciate the air conditioner wasn’t working. I’m not handy at all, and that just wasn’t something that I found charming. But now that I’m living in our own site, I’m studying to be more self sufficient. Buying the home by myself was a major challenge in and of itself. Just saving money for the down payment took myself and others over a decade before I had enough to actually buy it. But since it’s just me, I was able to find a starter home in our price range. All the essentials were in working shape when I bought this house. There was a nice roof and the bedroom had been completely renovated. Additionally, there was a nice Heating, Ventilation, and A/C component to supply the heating and cooling comfort I wanted. The central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit is of nice quality and a easily reliable brand. I actually splurged quite a bit and had a smart control unit installed as well. With the smart control unit, I at least don’t have to stay on top of the control unit setting all the time in order to save money on utility costs. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t have other responsibilities when it comes to using the residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. I want to protect this investment so I enrolled myself and the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit in the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C annual service plan. I’m also setting alarms on our PC to remind us to do our part with increasing the air filters.
