The cottage needs better insulation

The cottage needs a modern oil furnace as well

My wifey and I bought a cottage from a client at work. We knew that the cottage needed some work, but all of us absolutely did not suppose much about the arena. The client needed to get rid of the property abruptly, and she gave to sell it to us for pennies on the dollar. We jumped at the opportunity to own a piece of property by the lake. The first time all of us had a chance to see the cottage, all of us were relatively cheerful with our purchase. There is a great view from the porch. The arena has a legitimately sturdy foundation and the property has a lot of charm. There is a legitimately small stream that runs through the back of the property and the acre up front is mostly wooded and legitimately secluded. My wifey and I stayed at the cottage for a couple of mornings in October, so all of us could make a list of everything that needed to be addressed in the Spring. One thing that all of us noticed instantly was the lack of insulation in the cottage. It was legitimately cold and it felt like all of us were still outside when all of us were indoors. Insulation would help lower our heating costs if all of us ever planned to spend any length of time in the cottage while I was in the cold, Winter months. The cottage needs a modern oil furnace as well. The old oil furnace is gas and I like electric. It’s too taxing to get the gas supplier out to the lake in the middle of the Winter if the oil furnace runs out. I would much rather have an electric oil furnace instead.
