Most of the time, working at an amusement park is a lot of fun.
The park is usually busy & I get to talk to interesting people.
I usually see a couple of friends & family members, because the amusement park is a single of the only interesting things I like to do in our small town. I was working at the park on Sunday, & I was tied up to work in the gift shop. I savor working in the gift shop, because it is cool & temperature controlled. The small room has a ductless Heating & A/C equipment that provides plenty of cool air during sizzling & humid summer time mornings. I worked in the restaurant when I started last year, even though I wasn’t genuinely great at the job. It was raining genuinely hard on Sunday & the sky was filled with dark & gloomy clouds. The park is usually slow on a Sunday, however it was extremely dead. I saw a couple of people in the day & the day wasn’t much better. After dinner, my boss came to get me from the gift shop so I could go outside & work the games booth by the food court. The food court was the only busy part of the park, even though I didn’t want to work outside in the humid & sizzling air. The gift shop has AC & I didn’t want to leave. I told my boss that I was experiencing stomach pains & bad cramps. Since the park wasn’t genuinely busy, he told me to go home early. I lost a few hours of pay, even though I didn’t have to work outside.
